Backyard Macro

These were shot with my trusty EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens.  Hand held.  The top shot shows "no-tail" who is slowly growing back her tail.

Relax...

I was sitting on the back porch in my Captain Kirk swivel chair and this is what I saw.  Canon 40D with my EF 135mm f/4 L.  Hand held.  The bottom shot was at f/2.5 as to blur the background.  The dog is Cooper, our little Pomeranian.

Frozen In Time

Waiting for the windshield to defrost, I pointed the camera out the driver's side window and shot these.  Canon 40D & a Canon 100mm macro lens.

Walterboro, SC

We decided to take a day trip to Walterboro.  We've seen all the TV ads promoting the "Front Porch" of the lowcountry so we thought we'd see for ourselves.  The downtown area is going through some major sprucing up, but I still managed to find enough things to photograph to make me want to come back again.  Two cameras and two lenses:  10-22mm EFS and a 135mm f/2 L...no tripod, I decided to leave it in the trunk.  Maybe next time.
