Downtown Summerville ?!?

Yes it is. Thoughts of Charlotte or Atlanta.......but no, this is the new Town Hall Annex in the Flowertown. Though it in no way resembles the original Summerville Town Hall, it is a nice contrast to the buildings that surround it. The interior is just as interesting, which includes a three story stairwell in the lobby.

Earthquake In Summerville

Happened at 7:42 AM. Started at the back of my studio and rumbled towards the front. Lasted maybe 5 seconds. No apparent damage.

We had one in August 1992 that was almost exactly the same. It felt as if a small airplane crash landed on the roof.

What A Good Rain Brings Us.........

The Mustard Seed with a strong afternoon Sun

The rainbow and railroad crossing point skyward.

The heavy rains and clouds finally treated us to this spectacular rainbow.

A view from the back of my studio.

The Moon, Venus, Jupiter, Stills, Nash & Young

The evening sky on December 1st treated us to a conjunction of the Moon with the planets Jupiter & Venus. Venus is at bottom center and Jupiter is to the right of the Moon.

Shot at 240mm, the image below shows the crescent Moon with Venus (brightest "star") and Jupiter, to the extreme right.
