15 C-17s Take To The Skies

Within 7 minutes & 45 seconds 15 USAF C-17 Globemaster III cargo jets took off from the Charleston Air Force Base. At 9:35, all 15 jets flew over the Arthur Ravenel, Jr. bridge.
Ponds Plantation Christmas Party

The plantation house was decorated for the occasion.
I don't know who she is, but she did have a nice time.

Ann Henson *** Rest In Peace

Ann was a great friend who had been cutting my hair for almost 14 years. I met her when I was hired to photograph her daughter Genene's wedding back in 1994. (I think) I looked forward to seeing her every 6-8 weeks. Not only was she a good friend, but she always seemed interested in what was going on in my life. We always had something to laugh about while sitting in her "barber's chair". I miss her so much. I can't imagine anyone else cutting my hair. Rest in peace Ann. We love you!
Tito

This picture was taken the day Tito and I became best friends.
Tito would stand at the back door and put his nose prints all over the glass.

One year ago today, our pal Tito left us. He was a great friend, very loyal and loving. Lynn and I think about him all the time.

Monday Afternoon in Summerville

Fall is still lingering as some of the trees refuse to shed their leaves.
As the clouds cleared in the late afternoon, we were treated to another spectacular sunset.

Architectural Photography @ Tanger Outlet

Since Lynn wanted to do some shopping, and we had our little buddy Baer along with us, someone was going to have to stay out side. That would be me. I got the camera, tripod and Baer and started looking for some interesting images. The shoppers even wanted their photos taken, after they chatted with Baer of course.
Town Hall Annex Construction

This ladder and its shadow caught my eye.
I had an extra half hour to kill on Saturday, so I grabbed my 30D and took a walk over to the Town Hall Annex construction site. Granted, this pales in comparison to the Ravenel Bridge construction, but since we have no rivers anywhere close to downtown Summerville, this will just have to do.
